The perfect pair

The perfect pair
Just like wine and cheese or peas and carrots, some things are simply better when paired. This is also true when it comes to your skin care.

Our qualified Skin Therapists have put together the perfect pair for a range of skin concerns in order to keep your skin looking fantastic until you can return to having your skin treatments at Victorian Cosmetic Institute.

Ageing Concerns

Vitamin A and Vitamin C are the perfect combination for stimulating collagen and elastin production, which declines as we age. Vitamin A and C work together to recharge each other. This means you can get the most cellular repair and protection that any products can offer. Your Vitamin C should be applied in the morning. Apply your Vitamin A at night.

Dry & Dehydrated Skin

Hyaluronic acid holds 1000x its own weight in water making it a powerhouse for dry and dehydrating skin. Laying this with a hydrating mask will help plump even the most dry and sensitive of skins.

Uneven Skin Tone

To address your uneven skin tone you first need to block the pigment receptors within your skin to prevent further pigmentation and blotchiness forming. The second step is to exfoliate any superficial pigment away using both tyrosinase inhibitors and AHAs. Don't forget to use your sunscreen daily to block pigment causing UV rays.

Problematic/Acne Prone Skin

AHA and BHA's are the front line in breaking down acne. These ingredients work by controlling oil and keeping dead skin cells out of the pores which leads to blockages. Vitamin B will restore the skin barrier and help regulate and control the oil flow. Vitamin B is best applied at night.

All Skin Types

Want to maintain your skin's health? Vitamin A and Vitamin B are considered the must have topical vitamins for all skin types. Vitamin A will ensure the cell regulation stays in tip top shape whilst Vitamin B will protect the skin's barrier, all while breaking down and preventing further pigment.

The Ultimate Duo

We all need the occasional exfoliation and hydration boost to keep our skin glowing. The enzymatic power of papaya and pineapple will dissolve away any dead skin cells on the skin. Follow it up with a burst of hydration to plump up those top layers of skin leaving a clean and hydrated surface. Perfect for dull skin or at home mini facial.
